Ty J. Dierkes

Ty J. Dierkes

President & Owner

Ty is the President and Owner of the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home who joined the company in May 1987. He is a licensed funeral director & embalmer. He is in charge of the day to day operations of the funeral home, monuments and the crematory. He attended Ohio University-Belmont, graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a member of North Terrace Church of Christ, Clarington Lodge # 597 F&AM. He is a Past Monarch of the Amrou Grotto # 45, a member of Aladdin Shrine, Sertoma, Zanesville Daybreak Rotary, Zanesville Day Nursery and a Certified Crematory Operator. Ty is married to Erin Feerick Dierkes, a school teacher at West Muskingum Middle School and has four children, Jesse, Cody , Natasha and J.D. Ty enjoys helping people in their most difficult time of need. Ty currently is in his second term of a four year term as a member of the West Muskingum School Board of Education.


Paige Wagner

Vice-President/ Embalmer & Funeral Director

M. Paige Holdcroft Wagner is Vice-President of the corporation, a licensed funeral director, embalmer and certified crematory operator; she has been part of the Bolin-Dierkes family since 2005.  Paige was born and raised in Adamsville, and now currently resides in Dresden with her husband, Matt Wagner and daughters, Oakley and Aspen.  She is a graduate of Tri-Valley High School Class of 2006 and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science Class of 2008 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude of her class.  She finalized her studies at Point Park University, Pittsburgh, in 2009 where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Specialized Professional Studies-Funeral Service. 

Paige is dedicated to helping the families that she serves and takes pleasure in adding personal touches to each service that she takes part in. She also enjoys working through the challenges that she is positioned with everyday. 

Outside of work Paige is a member of Kiwanis. She also enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with her family and close friends. 

On May 7, 2011 Paige wed the love of her life, Matt Wagner.


Marie Bolin

Secretary

Marie is the secretary of the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. She has been serving in that capacity since 1971. Marie is multi-functional in that she will do whatever is needed to help the staff to better serve the needs of the families that we serve. In Marie's spare time she enjoys golf, bowling and all types of sporting events. Marie has two daughters, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.


Jackie Hall

Secretary

Jackie joined the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in 2016 as the secretary-bookkeeper.

Jackie is usually the first voice families hear when calling the funeral home. Jackie's pleasant personality and smile has comforted many families in their time on need.

Jackie and Ed Block, Jr. reside in South Zanesville. She has twin daughters, Zaena of Columbus and Zoeie of Zanesville, and a grandson, Milo.

In her spare time she enjoys going to the movies and spending time with her family.


Cody D. Dierkes

Apprentice and Certified Crematory Operator

Cody is the son of Ty & Erin Dierkes. Cody graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. and plans on joining his father in funeral service serving the families of Zanesville and surrounding areas.  Cody received his Certified Crematory Operators License from CANA in February of 2016. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball and working outside.

Becky (Hatfield) Holdcroft resides in Adamsville with her husband, Bob. Becky has two children, Copen of Zanesville and Paige of Dresden and four adorable grandchildren.  In her spare time, Becky enjoys keeping fit by participating in local 5k races and spending time with family and friends.  Her secret passion is amateur photography. 

Becky is currently serving as our evening greeter. She enjoys meeting the public and taking care of families in their time of need.

Emily G. Dierkes is an associate of Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. She joinined the firm in 2016. She presently is attending Ohio University School of Nursing. She is the daughter of Kelly and Tabi Dierkes.


Saleen Hail

Saleen Hail

Apprentice and Certified Crematory Operator

Saleen joined Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in July 2017. She is a native of the Cincinnati area. Saleen is a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science class of 2016 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Mortuary Science. Saleen received her Certified Crematory Operators License from the NFDA in July of 2016. In her spare time she enjoys swimming and spending time with friends and family. 


Kenneth Avery Sr.

Kenneth began working at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in October, 2012. He married Esther in May of 1976, and together they have two daughters, Monica and Melissa, and a son Kenneth Jr. He has three grandchildren. When Kenny isn't helping out at the funeral home, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tom joined the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in November of 2015. He has been married to his wife Lynne for 32 years and together they have one son, Jeff. Tom recently retired as a School Counselor, a job that he enjoyed for over 32 years. 


In his free time, he likes to travel, attend sporting events, work outside and find new restaurants.


Duane P. Jenkins

Duane joined the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in 1997. He resides in Zanesville with his wife of 21 years, Evelyn. He has a son Dana and a daughter Shari, three grandchildren, two step-daughters, Cheryl & Marla, and two step-sons, Stephen and Michael.


James Kirby

Retired Associate

Jim joined the Bolin-Dierkes Family in 2004 as an Associate and is focused on serving the families in their time of need. 

Jim has been married to his wife, Mary Lou (Hittle) Kirby for 21 years and they have 3 children, Jason of Circleville and Robert and Tammy, both of Zanesville. Jim is a member of the Market Street Baptist Church and previously served on the Board of Directors for Muskingum County Behavioral Health. He is a current member of the American Legion. 

Jim enjoys pitching horseshoes, playing golf, fishing and spending time with his family


Russell M. Bolin

Russell M. Bolin

Director

Russ was the President and owner of The Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. Russ graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in September of 1954 and then joined his father. He was a member of Immanuel Church of Downtown Zanesville, Lafayette Lodge # 79 F&AM, FOPA , Amrou Grotto and Kiwanis. Russ was married to Marie Welsh Bolin and had two daughters, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Russ died July 15, 2016.
