Symothress “Chico” Proctor, Jr., 64, of Zanesville, died at 9:26 P.M. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born December 2, 1957, in Nuremberg, Germany, to the late Symothress and Delores Proctor, Sr. He served in the United States Marines and had worked for Auto Zone and was still employed with Fanatics.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Sharon (Burke) Proctor, whom he married April 30, 1983; four children, Genee (Raymar) Dumas of Canal Winchester, Monique Proctor, Dominique Proctor, Symothress Proctor, and Tanisha Wallace, all of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Samiya Proctor and Kayonnah Taylor of Canal Winchester, Amariana Wolfe, Daevion Wallace, and Malikhi Adams, all of Zanesville; very special friends, Karen Hampton and Audrey Spencer; and two sisters, Billie Jean and Joann of Kansas.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Andrew Winters officiating. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville.
