Stephen "Steve" Billman Obituary

Stephen (Steve) D. Billman, 70, of Newark, died at 3:20 P.M. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. He was born September 20, 1951, in Newark, a son of the late Russell and Eunice (Priest) Billman. He retired after thirty nine years from Owens Corning of Newark and was an avid turkey and deer hunter.

He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Brenda (Russell) Billman whom he married June 22, 1973; children, Courtney (Phil) Arbez and Ryan (Drew) Billman; grandchildren, Lindsay and Olivia Arbez and Grey Billman; three sisters, Pat Baker, Connie (Don Butterfield) Durham and Janet (Chuck) McClary; two brothers Roger (June) Billman and David (Marilyn) Billman; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Steve’s wishes, no services will take place at this time. An inurnment will take place in the spring.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steve to The National Wild Turkey Federation, Post Office Box 530, Edgefield, SC 29824-0530.
