Shirley Gregg Obituary

Shirley L. (Squibb) Gregg, 82, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:12 P.M. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born January 30, 1935, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Clarice Stiles Squibb. She graduated from Lash High School in 1952 and Meredith Business College. She enjoyed playing her clarinet for more than twenty years with the Zanesville Memorial Band and in the orchestra for numerous local theatre productions. Shirley was a lifetime member at Grace United Methodist Church and had also worked there as financial secretary. She is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Bill) Cochran of Zanesville and Debbie (Nick) Janakiefski of Cincinnati; granddaughters Kelly and Laura Janakiefski of Cincinnati; and a brother-in-law, Charles Gouyd of Charlotte, NC.; a niece; and three nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Roy Gregg who died in 2012; and a brother, John Squibb.
