Obituary
Rosalind J.C. Hancock, 83, of Zanesville, died at 11:37 A.M. on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 30, 1940 in Columbus, a daughter of the late James and Edith (Brown) Hancock. Rosalind loved to crochet and enjoyed spending time with her children.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Hancock and Hugh Hancock; a daughter, Louri (Rick) Pressley; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; a brother Merrill (Linda) Hancock; many nieces and nephews; and her favorite niece, Diana Garges.
“Do not grieve for me, for I am free. I’m on the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you sunshine of tomorrow.”
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
A loving cremation will be performed under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
