Robert C. Mather, 68, of Zanesville, died at 8:25 P.M. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born April 3, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a son of the late Joseph and Sylvia Dannelke Mather. He was a Catholic by Faith, loved to collect knives and enjoyed old black and white movies. Robert was a devoted family man with an unmatched work ethic and had worked for Kroger’s for over fifty years.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Jacqueline Pryor Mather; two children, Jason Conrad (Tisha) Mather and Angela K. Mather; two grandchildren, Madison and Matthew Mather; two sisters, Susan (Lee) Berner and Patrica Wykel and two sister- in laws, Patty Mather and Judy (Dan)Lowther.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers William and Dr. Michael Mather.
Friends and family may call from 3-7 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main Street, Zanesville with Fr. JCP Sullivan officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
