Patricia M. (Thomas) Bauer

Patricia M. Bauer, 81, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:38 A.M. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.  She was born April 21, 1942, in Toronto, Ohio, daughter of the late Rudolph P. and Mildred (Donahue) Thomas. Pat retired from the Lear Corporation (Essex), she loved nature, flowers, hummingbirds and was an avid gardener. Patricia loved her family and was always there for the people she loved with her sweet soft spoken voice.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Edward L. Bauer, whom she married July 12, 1973; a daughter, Tammi (John) Hughes; two sons, Terry “T-Bone” (Shelly) Hartman and Joseph (Lisa) Hartman; a brother, Wayne Thomas; a sister, Carol Ann Boross, Linda Harris; eleven grandchildren, Trisha (Kris) Holmes, Fallon (Aaron) Mayle, Kody Hartman, Karleigh Hartman, Kameron Hartman, Kalli Hartman, Kaiden Hartman, Easton Smith, Mikel Hartman, Alex Hartman, and Madison Kelly; and fourteen great grandchildren, Denali Mayle, Bentley Mayle, Serenity Hartman, Kailynn Holmes, Kaidence Holmes, Remington Mayle, Kale Hartman, Roman Brooks, Bristol Hartman, Lily Hartman, Wyatt Lynn, Phoenix Hartman, Willow Hartman, and Sylas Hartman.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara “Bobbi” Moyta and Shirley Todd.

A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
