Marsha Stotts Obituary

Marsha Dawn Galbreath Stotts, 42, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born on August 9, 1978, in Cambridge, a daughter of Thomas and June (Dodd) Galbreath. Marsha was a 1996 graduate of John Glenn High School and Mid-East Ohio Nursing School. She was an LPN and loving caregiver at The Oaks at Northpointe, Zanesville, where she took care of many special patients during her career, including 25 COVID patients who meant so much to her. Marsha gave her whole heart to her patients and treated them as if they were family. She was an avid animal lover and advocate and rescued many furry friends over the years.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Bob Stotts, and his children; sisters, Rhonda (Dan) Sherfy, of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Teresa (Jay) Webb, Sr., of Kimbolton, Ohio, and Barbra (Jim) Johns, of Frisco, Texas; a brother, Thomas (Chris) Galbreath of Cambridge; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Marsha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nancy and Eldon Galbreath and Evelyn and Carl Dodd; an aunt, Shirley Wade; uncles, Harold Bud Wade and Earnest Galbreath; and her beloved dog, Grace.

Marsha was deeply loved and will be forever cherished and missed by her family, friends, and fur babies, Maddy and Buddy. She was an organ donor with her final act of service and love is helping nine deserving donation recipients. She would be so proud.

A loving cremation will take place with no calling hours or funeral service to be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marsha’s name to your local animal shelter or pet rescue.
