John E. Durst

John E. Durst, 70, of Hilliard, died at 2:59 A.M. Friday, July 31, 2020, at Kobacker House, Columbus. He was born March 21, 1950, in Zanesville, a son of Elizabeth Jones Durst and the late Richard E. Durst, Sr. He retired as Vice President of Operations at Arctic Express after 30 plus years.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Marilyn C. (Cooper) Durst, who he married January 16, 1971; a son, Chris (Molly) Durst; three grandsons, Owen, Seth, and Jack Durst; siblings, Maryedna (Jim) Fox and Richard E. (Karen) Durst, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Gary Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 2, 2020 and one hour prior to funeral services to be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Mr. Mike Durst officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.

Due to the Covid-19 requirements, facial masks will be essential and social distancing appreciated.
