Gary Gaylord Obituary

Gary D. Gaylord, 67, of Zanesville, died at 12:48 A.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born March 31, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of the late Donald F. and Marilyn P. (Warne) Gaylord. He retired from Tectum Inc. and had also worked at Central Ohio Coal. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda (Jason) Shriver and Abby (Jason) Johnson; five grandchildren, Syndey Johnson, Jake Johnson, Scarlett Shriver, Sage Shriver, and Cale Shriver; a brother, Jon (Rebecca) Gaylord; a sister, Julie (Greg) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna L. Gaylord who died November 13, 2017.

A Private Service will be held at a later date at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
