Evelyn (Snyder) Lockhart

Evelyn Snyder Lockhart, 93, of Newark, died at 5:20 A.M. on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newark. She was born October 14, 1926, in Shinnston, WV, a daughter of the late Walter Carson and Lora B. Vanscoy Snyder. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter; a son; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas E. Lockhart whom she married August 11, 1945 and died June 11, 2013.

Friends and family may call from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with a graveside service to follow at 1:15 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, with Mr. Jim Clegg officiating.
