Obituary

Doris L. McCoy, 65, of Zanesville, died at her home on January 18, 2022. She was born March 4, 1956, a daughter of Donald R. and Anna L. Best McCoy Sr. She had a passion for cross stitching and making homemade cards. Doris is a 1974 graduate of John Glenn High School. Doris will be greatly missed and the memories she gave us will be forever cherished.

She is survived in addition to her parents, by a daughter, Malia (Jared Brackeen) Hobson; a son, Jarod Hobson; three grandchildren, Reese, Hunter and Olivia; her furry companion, Lilly; a brother, Donald “Duke” R. (Dianna) McCoy Jr., a Sister, Alice I. ( Ronald) McConnell) McCoy; two nephews, Jordan Fisher and Andrew Fisher; special aunt, Susie (Skip) Baker who were raised together like sisters and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas J. McCoy and a sister, Tawnya R. McCoy.

No calling hours or services will be held. She will be cremated under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
