Donald J. Caldwell Jr.

Donald J. Caldwell Jr., 62, of Zanesville, died at 11:56 P.M. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room, Zanesville.  He was born December 23, 1961, in Zanesville, son of the late Donald J. and Marilyn A. (Wilson) Caldwell. Donald worked for Central Ohio Bandag for thirty years, he was a Volunteer firefighter in Adamsville for ten years, he enjoyed farming and he loved cheering for the Steelers with his boys.

He is survived by his children, two sons, Joe (Chasity) Caldwell and Donald J. Caldwell III; a daughter, Christina Caldwell; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Cindy Watson, Marty Caldwell and Tina Caldwell.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. to time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Timothy Patton officiating.  He will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville.
