Obituary
Delores I. Ayres, 85, of Zanesville, died at 3:55 P.M., April 19, 2023, at Clay Gardens Place, Zanesville. She was born July 24, 1937 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Russell and Thelma (Gebhart) Kronebitter. Delores enjoyed playing cards, gardening, puzzles, crocheting, and cooking.
Delores is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Rob) Fisher and Connie (Pete) LaPlant; two sons, Donald Ayres Jr. and Ronald (Jo) Ayres; five grandchildren, Kari (Matt) Culberson, Kelly (Jake) Garn, Jordan(Whitney) Ayres, Matt Fisher, Adam Fisher; great-grandchildren, Connor Garn, Julian Fisher, Orly and Mille Culberson, Adian Garn, Leo and Maddy Ayres.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Ayres, whom she married February 20, 1956; a sister, Marilyn (Gebhart) Harris and a brother Sonny Gebhart.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
