Thelma Mohr

Thelma Mohr, 96, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:24 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born September 3, 1929, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Henry and Velma (Vaughn) Madinger Sr.

She is survived one brother, Henry (Sharon) Madinger Jr. of Nashport, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a great niece and nephew.

In addition to her parents Thelma is preceded in death by her loving soulmate of 66 years, Donald Mohr who passed away on November 9, 2018; a sister, Shirley Hoover; and one niece, Doreen Baker.

Per Thelma’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held. Thelma will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Donald at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
