Thelma Sue Daugherty, 77, of New Concord, died at 1:20 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born May 30, 1942 in Norwich, Ohio, a daughter of the late Evertt and Dorothy Jordan Powelson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Daugherty; a son, Jeff (Tina) Daugherty; a brother, Jim Powelson; and a granddaughter, Nikki Daugherty.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Powelson and three sisters, Kay Garber, Mary Louise Watson and Helen Prouty.
A cremation has taken place per Thelma’s wishes. Friends and family may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, until time the time of service at 8:00 P.M.
