Sue Carol Doughty

Sue Carol Doughty, 80, of Zanesville, died at 8:14 A.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born May 18, 1946, in Jackson County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Eugene and Nina (Bowden) Hoosan. Sue was a nursing tech at Adams Lane Care Center for many years before retiring in 2007.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles E. Stemm and Jeffery D. Doughty; two brothers, Michael L. Hoosan and Edwin Fitzgerald; and a granddaughter, Hallie Nicole Vickers.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas W. Doughty, who passed away January 16, 2023.
