Sue Demp

Sue Demp, 81, of Zanesville, died at 4:32 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Genesis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 29, 1945, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Wayne and Helen (Peyton) Geiger. Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Mike. Along with her husband Mike, Sue was a member of The Rolling Plains Global Methodist Church of Zanesville, and also The Church of the Crossroads in Clermont, Florida. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary #302 in Zanesville, serving as secretary for many years and was a Lifetime member of the Good Sam Camping Organization, where she and Mike previously served as Directors over the State of Ohio. Sue and Mike had been snowbirds for the past 26 years, and were active volunteers for Cornerstone Hospice of Clermont, Florida.

She is survived by a sister, Donna (Ken) Pruden; and brother, Larry (Bridget) Geiger; and many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Friends and family may call from­­­ 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026 with Pastor John Alice officiating. Sue will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Mike at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
