Sheila Ann Brewer

Sheila Ann Devoll Brewer, 64, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on April 11, 2025, at her home with her two daughters by her side.

She was born March 2, 1961, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late William (Mink) and Diana Devoll McCormick.

Shelia worked as a bartender at Dozer’s Place for many years slingin’ drinks to all her customers while “given em hell”. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karrie Brewer of Roseville, and Brandie Brewer (Jerremie Hill) of Zanesville; her six grandchildren Mahki, Eric (Vanessa) of Roseville, Jimmy, Kaylee (Sean), Melanee, and John, of Zanesville; her two great-grandchildren Aria and Zariah; her four surviving siblings, Kenneth (Darla) McCormick of Rosefarm, Darrell McCormick of Deavertown, Vina McCormick (Kevin Amspaugh) of Roseville, and Bertha McCormick of Deavertown.

In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her sister Bridgette Butler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
