Sandra Lee Jackson

Sandra Lee Jackson, 90, of New Lexington, died at 6:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Majestic Care of New Lexington. She was born January 26, 1936, in Allen County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hayden and Zoe (Long) Roberts. Sandra was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville and also a member of the Zane Court #36Order of the Amaranth in Zanesville. She had a love for all animals and worked as a volunteer at the Columbus Zoo. But above all, Sandra was an excellent cook and loved her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edwin Jackson, whom she married December 13, 1975; her daughter, Bernadette Marie (George Reeder) Henry; two sisters, Zoe Cox and Susan Stickly; three brothers, David Roberts, Steven Roberts and Thomas Roberts; and her fury friends, Candy and Muffin.

In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved fury companion, Daisy.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
