Rosemary Estelle Cooper

Rosemary E. Cooper, 82, of Zanesville, passed away while in the care of the Genesis Morrison Hospice House on Friday, February 13, 2025. She was born in Cleveland to Charles & Ann (Rudy) Martoelio. Rosemary had a passion for growing plants; she loved orchids, gardening, and growing numerous types of flowers. She also found time for her to pursue reading, mostly religious tomes or books about gardening. She ran her own business that made shampoos, soaps, lotions, and even pet products. It was called AOT Research, which stood for Ahead of its Time. She was a devoted wife and loving step-mother whose heart also extended to her cherished dog, Mia.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Gary Cooper, whom she married on April 17, 1991; her step-sons, Dan Cooper & Bryan (Robyn) Cooper, her step-daughter, Lisa Cooper, her step-grandchildren, Bryce (Amanda) Cooper, Crosby Cooper, Demi Cooper, Natalie (Andy) Trivissano, Kate Cooper, Melissa Cooper, Brittany Cooper, Daniel Cooper, and Alyssa Cooper, as well as a step-great-grandchild, Mason. She will be missed by her brothers, Gene (Betty) Martoelio and Charlie (Marge) Martoelio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Alfred “Buddy” Martoelio.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating. Rosemary will be laid to rest at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
