Robert Eugene Dayton

Robert Eugene Dayton, 71, of Zanesville, died at 12:01 am on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home. He was born June 11, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of the late William Lewis and Myrtle (Allen) Dayton. Robert worked as a Truck Driver, was a United States Air Force Veteran, and enjoyed playing the guitar or spending a sunny day on his chopper.

Bob is survived by three brothers, William “Bill” (Mary) McCormick, Richard “Rick” Dayton and David Dayton; a sister Deborah Talley; and several nieces and nephews.

To honor Bob’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
