Rita V. Baylor

Rita V. Baylor, 76, of Zanesville, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born March 20, 1931, in Crooksville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Asa and Faye Allen Brown. She worked in the clothing department at Heck's Department Store and was a member of East Forty Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling, church activities and was an avid gardener. Surviving are a daughter, Pam (Jeff) Anthony of Columbus; two sons, Steven (Helen) Chesser of Lewisburg, Ohio and Troy Chesser of Zanesville; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baylor, who died July 11, 2004; a daughter, Christine Wallace and nine brothers and sisters. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Mr. Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
