Ricky "Rick" D. Watton

Ricky “Rick” Watton, 69, of Zanesville, died at 1:36 A.M. on Monday, October 19, 2026 at his home. He was born October 18, 1957, in Zanesville, a son of the late Guy and Leona Watton. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Rick enjoyed his snacks and junk food but above all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandson.

He is survived by his loving wife of42 years, Molly (Dale) Watton; his son, Andrew Watton; a grandson, Hayden Watton; two brothers, Dave (Nyla) Watton and Johnny (Emma) Watton; and three sisters, Becky Moorehead, Barbara Gibbs and Kathy Watton.

In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his grandson, Carson Watton; a brother, Danny Watton; and a sister, Jackie Huey.
