Richard Lee Barnett, 80, of Zanesville, died on Monday June 18, 2012 at the Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born May 25, 1932 in Zanesville to the late Clarence R. and Ruth Galigher Barnett. He was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ. Richard retired from Rockwell International, where he was an inspector in 1989. Surviving are his wife, Naomi Delores Bennett Barnett, of the home; two sons, Thomas Mark (Carol) Barnett of Bradenton, FL and Daniel Lynn Barnett of Northport, FL; five sisters, Maxine Williams, Emalene Kelso, Eleanor Hicks, Helen Harris, and Rebecca Barnett; four brothers, Larry , Clyde, Henry and Donald Barnett; four grandchildren, Kristal Saunders, Amanda McLean, Ashley King, and Joshua Barnett; and four great grandchildren, Harmony McLean, Jeremy Barnett, Kateria Barnett, and Kylie King. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 with Evangelist Tony Maple officiating. Richard will be laid to rest at the Pennsville Cemetery in McConnelsville, Ohio.
