Richard G. Anderson

Richard G. Anderson, 82, of Zanesville, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Willow Haven Care Center. He was born March 27, 1927, in Crooksville, a son of the late Charles and Blanche Angel Anderson. He retired in 1984 as chairman and chief executive officer of Belmont National Bank. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge in Crooksville and was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Wanda J. Oakley Anderson, of the home; and a sister, Doris Poole of Crooksville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanore Watts and Ruth Claypool; and three brothers, Harold, Bill, and Charles Anderson. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Steve McGuire officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio.
