Reberta Ilene Cantwell Butcher, 76, of Dresden, died at 12:05 P.M. on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born August 6, 1937, in Toronto, Ohio, a daughter of the late Luther and Laura Cantwell. She was co-owner of Butch's Marathon, Butch's Sunoco, and BB Carry Out. Surviving are a son Ricky J. Butcher of Zanesville; a brother Charles (Barbara) Cantwell of Zanesville; two nephews Raymond (Kathy) Griffiths of Denver, CO, and Larry Griffiths of Zanesville; a niece Linda Cantwell of Zanesville; her five furry friends, Ginger, Princess, Big Black, Brownie, and Little Brownie; her loving parrot Woody; and her pet dove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Butcher; and a sister Mary Griffiths. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 14, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2014, with Pastor Greg Imboden officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Ronald at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden.
