Paul Mack Jr.

Paul E. Mack Jr., 67, of Nashport, died at 10:40 A.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, following a lengthy illness. He was born November 10, 1947, in Zanesville, a son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Myrtle Bates Mack. He retired after 38 years of service from the Energy Cooperative. He had previously worked at Timmons Buick, McHugh Volkswagen, and McGraw Edison. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Patricia A. Clossman Mack, whom he married July 25, 1970; a son Steven Mack of Zanesville; a daughter Cynthia Mack of Zanesville; two sisters, Gloria Monroe and Marilyn Ireton, both of Zanesville; a special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy and Robert Phillips of Zanesville; numerous nieces and nephews; and two feline companions, Kia and Shadow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Mack; two brothers-in-law, Robert Monroe and Mark Ireton; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Florence and William Clossman. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, with Mr. Mike Henery officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. The family would like to extend a special thanks to our neighbors for their support and compassion during Paul's illness, and also to Dr. Wegner and Dr. Remster, as well as all the nurses and staff at the Cancer Treatment Center at Genesis for their care and support.
