Patricia “Pat” (Addis) Jones, 75, of Zanesville, passed away August 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late George Richard and Wanda Jean Addis. She was a 1969 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. She was a 57-year member of the O.E.S. Chapter 485 and a lifetime member of The Muskingum Church, where she sang in the choir.
She loved to watch the Ohio State football games, as well as a lot of other sports. She enjoyed going to country music concerts and trips to Las Vegas with her husband and family. She was very involved with everything that her kids and grandkids were involved in. She was everyone’s loudest supporter and fan. She was a firm believer that everyone should be treated with honor and respect, and everyone’s differences were celebrated.
Later on, she attended Muskingum Area Technical College for Data Processing. In 1985, while a student there, she competed in the O.E.A. State Contest in the Computer Operator Field and won 1st Place. She went on to win 6th place at the 19th Annual National Leadership Conference, held in Houston, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William L. “Bill” “BJ” Jones. Their love was the kind of love that the whole family strived to find. She is also survived by one son, John (Christie) Jones, of Chandlersville; one daughter, Candi Jones, of Duncan Falls; her six cherished sunshines (grandchildren), Andrew (Shawn Martin), Kage (Christian Maynard), Chasedy, Kiyana (Michael Willoughby), Kali, and Jordan Jones; her brother-in-laws, Bob (Cindy) Jones, Oscar (Connie) Jones, Ab (Rita) Jones, William “Bill” (Marie) Albaugh, and Jim Phillips; one sister-in-law, Cinda (Larry) Kern; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and their beloved dog, Daisy.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited in Heaven with her father-and-mother-in-laws, Lawrence “PeeWee” and Lois Jones; and her sisters, Louella Albaugh and C. Sue Phillips.
