Nancy L. Gardner

Nancy Lynne Gardner, 65, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born December 8, 1960, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Mary Jean (Meighen) Orr. Nancy graduated from Zanesville High School in 1979 and went on to pursue her calling in nursing. She earned her RN Degree from Ohio University Zanesville, where she served as Vice President of her class. She was formerly a very dedicated member of Market Street Baptist Church. Nancy’s kind heart was devoted to both people and animals alike. Her warmth and caring spirit will be remembered by those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Gardner; two sons, Chad M. James and Zachary A. Gardner; two brothers, Robert W. Orr Jr. and Ray (Lois) Orr; father-in-law Mel Gardner; two brothers-in law, Larry Baker and David (Devi) Gardner; and multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a grandson Zane Arthur Gardner; mother-in-law Barbara L. Gardner; and two sisters, Becky Baker and Linda Orr.

Per her wishes, a small private gathering will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
