Nada Kay Garvin, 68, of South Zanesville, died at 5:07 am on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born August 5, 1958, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Richard M. and Helen Cleo (Lambert) Myers. She worked many years as Ward Secretary at Good Samaritan Hospital, and found great joy in quilting. She especially enjoyed the time spent alongside her fellow members of the Piecable Quilters Guild, where she created beautiful pieces that will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
Nada is survived by her husband Larry L. Garvin, who she married November 27, 1993; a daughter Christina (Mark) Allen; a son Chance (Paula) Garvin; grandchildren Caeden (Katelyn) Willey, Caleb Willey and Caylor Willey; great grandchildren Kaedelyn and Korbyn Willey; and her sister Vesta Fell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Myers; and a sister Bertha Myers.
A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, at our locally owned and operated crematory.
A Celebration of Nada’s life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at a later date.
