Michael L. Schneider

Michael L. Schneider, 72, of Philo, died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Genesis Hospital emergency room, Zanesville. He was born February 24, 1949, in Zanesville, a son of the late Hugo and Sue Margaret McCoy Schneider. He was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1968, retired from the IBEW Local Union # 1105, he attended Cornerstone Full Gospel Church. Michael also was a member of Dresden Lodge # 103 F&AM, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved RC Airplanes and was a member of ZARCS.

Surviving are a daughter, Mellissa (Chad Bates) Schneider; three sons, Michael (Tammy) Schneider, David (Michele) Schneider and Earl Schneider; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, James (Janice) Schneider and Daniel (Cindy) Schneider and his best friend, his dog, Tramp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Lee Schneider; three brothers, Martin Schneider, Ernie Schneider and Fred Schneider and three sisters, Mary Walker, Pam Schneider and Susie Schneider.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in honor of Michael to Pawsitive Hearts, P.O. Box 1421, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
