Michael A. Rice

Michael A. Rice, 66, of Zanesville, died at 8:36 P.M. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at The Ohio State University Hospital. He was born December 12, 1957, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert and Barbara (Ritchey) Rice. Mike retired as a glassmaker for Brockway Glass. He enjoyed spending his time riding his motorcycle, fishing, and camping. Most of all, Michael loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of nearly forty years, Julie Rice whom he married February 26, 1985; daughters, Tiffany (John) Stoneburner and Amber (John) Pitcock; grandchildren, Quinten and Autumn Stoneburner and Shila Pitcock; and his beloved fur friend, Tank.

Friends and family may call from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with a cremation to follow.
