Megan Leah Gee, 46, of Zanesville, passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at The Ohio State University Hospital. She was born November 22, 1977, a daughter of Debra (Smith) Gee and the late Phillip Randall Gee. Megan adored children and loved the story of Amy Carmichael who was a missionary in China and adopted children to bring them to the Lord. Megan was able to adopt four beautiful children of her own, the loves of her life; Dominic, Molly, Asher and Silas. Everyone who knew Megan said she had a sweet and gentle spirit.
In addition to her mother and children, Megan is survived by her sister Randi Nicole Glass; nephew, Levi Glass and niece Laiken Glass; special cousins who were at her bedside when she passed, Sarah, Stephanie, Stacie, Shannon and many other loved cousins; her grandmother, Leah Smith; her Aunts and Uncles, Tim (Karen) Smith, Rob Lynn) Smith, Steve (Sherry) Smith; special Aunt Karen (Don) Sheppard who were also at Megan’s side and Tammy (Tom) Gard.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandfather, Pastor Ron Smith; Charles and Phyllis Gee; and her aunt, Nancy Smith.
The family would like to thank Megan’s many friends who have helped them along the way and through this difficult time, two special friends, Dale Gibson and Erin Dierkes.
