Mary A. (Garrett) Arnold

Mary A. Arnold, 80, of Zanesville, died at 1:58 P.M. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Briggs Garrett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Melvin Arnold whom she married on February 24, 1961; a son, Brent Arnold; a daughter, Amy (Mike) Johnson; five grandchildren, Elaine (Floyd) Dodson, Trevor (Megan) Eversole, Marianne Arnold, Maria Johnson and Josey Johnson; seven great grandchildren, Liliana, Kolby, Ryker, Jenica, Zoey, Zeb and Madi; a sister, Carol Bryan; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Heskett and two brothers, John Garrett and Steve Garrett.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, with no services or calling hours to be held.
