Margaret E. "Peg" Spiker

Margaret E. “Peg” Spiker, 86, of Zanesville, died at 8:29 A.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at home. She was born July 16, 1938, in Meigsville Township, a daughter of the late Chester E. and Evelyn O. (Patterson) Roberts. Peg was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and the Genealogy Societies in Muskingum and Morgan counties. She found joy in collecting the Cat’s Meow’s, travelling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter Vanessa (Steven) Jones of; a son, Dan’el (Brandy) Spiker; her Stepson, Dean Spiker, her grandchildren, Ryan and Jarred Jones, Brittany Spiker, Crystin Troyer, and Lila Ginn; great grandchildren, Logan, Foster, Eva, Bowen, and Berkley; as well as her sister, Naomi Gates.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Spiker, two brothers, Douglas Roberts, and Clifford Roberts.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of Celebration of Life Service starting at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Jason Boggs officiating.
