Margaret F. Powell

Margaret F. Powell, 81, of Frazeysburg, died at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room. She was born March 24, 1923 at Roseville, a daughter of the late Lewis R. & Elnora C. Welsh Stotts. She was a member of Maranatha Bible Church, retired as a cook after 30 years service at the Frazeysburg Elementary School. She was an avid gardener and an excellent seamstress. Surviving are four daughters, Marcella R. (Paul ) Dunfee of Frazeysburg, Sheila A. ( Jeff ) Norris, Lynn E. ( David ) King and Cathy S. ( Michael ) Hittle both of Nashport, a son, Dale F. ( Carole ) Powell of Zanesville, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two sisters, her twin, Frances M. Fleming of Marne and Wilma Bradley of Frazeysburg and a aunt, Hazel Welsh of Dresden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Clifford Powell, whom she married May 21, 1941, who died September 23, 2004,and a brother, Ivan Stotts. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2004 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2004 with Rev. L. Dale McCallister and Rev. Ron Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Muskingum Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Nashport.
