Luara J. (Gill) Gheen

Luara J. Gheen, 52, of Hopewell, died at 9:53 P.M. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born March 27, 1968, in Columbus, a daughter of the Nancy (Johnston) Cook and the late Allen Gill. She was a 1986 graduate of West Muskingum High school and a pharmacy associate for Walmart. She enjoyed music from the 70’s and 80’s, and a dog, cat and butterfly lover.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Amanda (Mark) Miller; a son, Matthew McConiha; seven grandchildren, Crysler, Carter, Lorilie (Kenzie), Faith, Jordan, Nancy, and Sevren; her significant other for twenty-five years, Justin Gheen; five sisters, Betsy (Jamie) Gill, Yvonne (Patrick) Young, Carolyn Fikes, Leslie (Rich) Vernon, and Vangie Wiles-Harrison; a brother Russell (Shirley) Canter; a special niece, Rebecca Hall; a very special niece, Alix Nicole; and a special friend, Sherry Noll.

A cremation has taken place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE the areas only funeral home owned crematory.
