Linda June Gill

Linda June Gill, 80, of Dresden, died at 7:27 A.M. on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 15, 1944, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Eloise Faye Drake. Linda loved to bake and enjoyed mowing her grass and tending to her garden. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda loved the Lord and was a Born Again Christian.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles “Rusty” Gill, whom she married on August 9, 1969; her two daughters, Tammy (Darryl) Johnson and Kimberly Harney; a son, Garry (Tera) Neptune; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty (Chuck) Gamble; sister-in-law, Candy Rambo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her mother, Linda is preceded in death by a sister, Barb Nolan; a brother, Carlton “Bud” Rambo; a brother in law, Larry Nolan; and many aunts and uncles.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating. Linda will be laid to rest at Covenater Cemetery in Dresden, Ohio.
