Letha Emerick Hoadley, 96, of Zanesville, died at 7:05 A.M. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Adams Lane Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Zanesville. She was born February 23, 1929, in Logan, Ohio, a daughter of the late Foster David and Margaret Jane (Gastan) Emerick. Letha was a member of the Nashport UMC and the American Legion Auxiliary No. 29.
She is survived by her children Bill and Carol Hoadley and Karen Hayes; grandchildren, Monica and Mandy Hoadley, Misty and Chad Hutchison, Deanna and Joe Lear, Doug and Lynn Swingle; great grandchildren, Brandon (Britnay) Lear, David and Emily Stone, Haleigh Lear; great great grandchildren, David, Eden, Karlee, Karter, and Korbin; sisters, Bonnie Butler, Sharron Painter, and Penny and Jerry Williams.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul William Hoadley Jr. who passed away on January 1, 2003, four sisters, Jenny Emerick, Shirley Huber, and her infant sisters, Martha and Patty; two son-in-laws, Rodney Hayes and David Barnes.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Irville Cemetery, at Creamery and State Route 146, Nashport, Ohio, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Paul.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
