Kimberly Sue Harney

Kimberly Sue Harney, 60, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully while in the compassionate care Genesis Hospice on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1965, in Zanesville, the daughter of Charles R. Gill and Linda (Drake) Gill.

Kimberly will be remembered for her contagious smile, her kind and loving heart, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. She had a gift for making others feel welcome, especially through her cooking, as she was known as a wonderful cook who loved bringing family and friends together. Kimberly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including swimming, spending time at Nickel Valley Resort, and listening to classic rock and roll music. Most importantly, Kimberly happily gave her life to the Lord, finding strength and peace in her faith.

Her greatest joy came from her family, whom she loved deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Kendra Harney; her sons, Jesse Harney and Jeffrey Harney; her father, Charles R. Gill; and her cherished grandchildren, Zoe Harney, Ireland Harney, Taylor Harney, and Sienna Marsh. She also leaves behind her brother, Garry Neptune, and her sister Tammy (Darryl) Johnson, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her loving spirit and joyful presence.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Gill, and her stepbrother, Tommy Neptune.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
