He was a dedicated member of his church, serving actively on its council, and volunteered as an Assistant Scoutmaster, helping organize meetings, camping trips, and ceremonies for the Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of the Zanesville Rotary Club.
A man of many talents and interests, Ken enjoyed camping, home improvement projects, and tinkering in his garage. He was known for his helpful and caring nature, his strong sense of friendship, and a stern but loving demeanor. He found immense joy in his family, especially his granddaughter, Dagny, whose presence brought him great happiness from the moment she joined the family in 2008. His admiration and constant interest in her life were a testament to his deep devotion to those he loved.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Johnson, whom he married on October 19, 1968; his sons, Craig Johnson and his wife Barbara, and Timothy Johnson and his wife Jennifer.
