Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Barnhart, 62, of Zanesville, died at 4:38 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. He was born January, 27 1963, in Zanesville, a son of the late Raymond Eli Barnhart and Francis (Besser) Morrison and his step-father who raised him, Russell Morrison. He worked for the Sakas Inc. from 1996-2014 as a CNC Turret Punch Press Operator. Kenny was a gun enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and target shooting, he found joy riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and taking care of his wife, Keri and his fur baby, pit-bull, Remi. Kenny gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
He is survived by his wife Keri (Klinger) Barnhart whom he married May 3, 1985; his son, Michael (Jodi) Lang; mother-in-law Kathleen Klinger; a sister, Tammy (Dave) Morrison-Downey; four sisters-in-law, Dee (David) Sims, Kathy Garnes, Beth Klinger and Pam Coffey; eight nieces, Josie Cox, McCenzi Dennis, Jenna Burney, Jill Barnhart, Krista Hess, Madison Dotson, Alexis Jameson and Riley Dietz; eleven nephews, Matthew Sims, Joey Sims, Zachary Sims, Kaiden Klinger, Brody Lang, Shawn Cravenor, Nathan Marling, Brandon Marling, Cody Marling and Carter Stemm; several great nieces and nephews; and his longtime best friend, John Barnes.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Barnhart and Keith Barnhart; a sister, Carolyn Warfield; and a nephew, Shane Mohler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at another date.
A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
