June Lynn Wright

June Lynn Wright, 82, of Zanesville, died on Monday morning, April 21, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 2, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Albert and Phyllis (Salsbury) Johnson. June worked in sales for the Longaberger Company as well as a nurse’s aide but first and foremost, she was a loving homemaker, mother and wife. She was a devoted member of the Maranatha Bible Church, where she served faithfully as both a Sunday School Teacher and Jr. Church Teacher. A loving busy mother of four, June found joy in swimming, fishing, gardening and picking strawberries. She especially cherished trips to the beach in Jacksonville. June had a creative spirit and collected ceramics, and enjoyed making photo albums filled with treasured memories.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William E. Wright Jr. whom she married December 21, 1962; three children, Ginger (Fred) Albertine, James (Jenna) Wright, Michael (Linda) Wright; nine grandchildren, Carrianne, Josiah, Caleb, Grace, Andrew, Daniel, Noah, Micah (Makayla), Luke; three great-grandchildren, Asher, Makinley, Malachi; and a sister, Linda Russell.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, William “Billy” E. Wright III; and two brothers-in-law, Gerry Russell and Daniel Wright.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 12:00 NOON on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
