Joyce A. (Goldsmith) Samson

Joyce A. Samson, 77, of Zanesville, died at 6:15 A.M. on Thursday, July 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 10, 1947, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Sanford R. and Marie V. (Gifford) Goldsmith.

She is survived by her children, Tina (Ray) Seals, Tiera (James) Coleman, Tammy (Thomas) Brennan, and Craig Samson; nine grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Dickerson, Michael (Donna) O’Neill, Adam (Kayla) Loyd, Ashlie Samson, Bryon O’Neill, Joshua Samson, Kate (Aaron) Macenko, Coltin (Matthew) Coleman, and Austin (William Rogner) Samson; eighteen great grandchildren, Michael, Koda, Emma, Coleman, Braydon, Ethan, Kylea, Quinton, Adysin, Quinton, Raigann, Maci, Alexis, Brycen, Finleigh, Lynee, William and Wyatt; two great great granddaughters, Oaklee and Aurora; a sister Patsy (Rich) Winters; and a furry companion Emmie.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Samson, who died November 18, 2014; five brothers; and one sister.

Friends and family may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Following the calling hours, a cremation will take place.
