Joseph H. Miles

Joseph H. Miles, 99, of Zanesville, passed away at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, Zanesville. He was born in Grafton, WV on April 11, 1923, a son of the late Collie Thomas and Helen E. Messenger Miles. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, enjoyed bowling, had a passion for farming but above all he loved his family and was a good man to all.

He is survived by his sister, Donna (Mark) Macola of Johnson City, Texas; a daughter, Gwen Callas-Miller of Rhode Island; a granddaughter, Elyse Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Lee Hoobler Miles; a sister, Betty Ann Pappas and two brothers, Robert Miles and Harold Miles.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Joseph will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Jane.
