Jerry Delbert Williams

Jerry Delbert Williams, 78, of Zanesville, died at 7:01 P.M. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born February 10, 1948, in Zanesville, a son to the late William D. and Georgia Uldine (Temple) Williams. He was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Zanesville and a proud member of the union at McGraw Edison, where he worked as a material handler for many years. Jerry enjoyed bowling, softball and golfing but found the most joy spending time with his family, especially going to Myrtle Beach over the last 20 years with his wife, Penny.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Penny (Emerick) Williams, whom he married on June 4, 1967, a daughter, Beth (Jennifer Jeffers) Williams; two sons, Jody (Kathy) Williams and Matthew Williams; three grandchildren, Jared Williams, Bailey Williams and Bennett Jeffers; a sister, Darlene Hartley; and a brother, Dare Williams.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his sister, Verlene.

No services will be held and a cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
