Jeanie E. McDonald

Jeanie McDonald (51), of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away suddenly on May 31st at Genesis Hospital. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Regan Valentine and great nephew Maverick Coen.

In 2009 Jeanie started at Avon distribution center where she had recently just been promoted to Management. She was extremely proud of herself for accomplishing this since she struggled so much back in High School at Philo. She was even going back to school through Avon and holding all A’s.

Throughout life she had many ups and downs but her best accomplishment was her two son’s Kyle and Kolin McCandless. But Jeanie’s biggest joy in her life was hergrandbabies.

In 2012 she met the love of her life Bryan McDonald, and they married a few years later.

Jeanie is survived by her husband Bryan McDonald. Her sons Kyle (Jayme) McCandless and Kolin McCandless. Grandkids Evelyn, Penelope, Vivianne and Abraham McCandless. Her father Arka “Lucky” (Mary Belle Ripple) Valentine. Siblings- Annie (Craig Tignor) Valentine and Dannie (Debbie) Valentine. Nieces and nephews Adam (Chrissy) Coen, Rachel (Jeremy) Frontz, Arka B. Valentine, Kaylie May Brown, Phillip (Samantha) Valentine, Derek Valentine, Danielle (Brittney) Valentine and Helena Valentine. Sister-n-law Tina Ball, and many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews. Also, close family friends Andy, Dorothy and Less Lippy and Braeden.

At Jeanie’s request there will be no special services.

The family is inviting those that wish to join them though on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. for a Remembrance Gathering at the VFW, 120 Main St. Duncan Falls, Ohio 43734.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.
