Jacob Michael Jones

With hearts full of love and profound sorrow, Adam and Angela (Bagley) Jones announce the birth and passing of their precious son, Jacob Michael Jones, who was born on July 3, 2026, at Genesis Hospital.

Although Jacob's time on earth was brief, he was deeply loved from the very beginning. He brought with him the hopes, dreams, and unconditional love of a family who eagerly awaited his arrival. While his tiny hands never had the chance to hold those who loved him, he forever left handprints upon their hearts. Jacob will always be cherished, remembered, and loved beyond measure.

Jacob is lovingly survived by his devoted parents, Adam and Angela Jones; his siblings, Koltin (Kenzie) Olney, Kaidyn Olney, Adrianna LaCroix, AJ Jones, David Jones, Andrew Jones, and Gracie Jones; his nephews, Kashtin Olney and Kaisyn Olney; his grandparents, Clifford (Starla) Bagley and David Jones; his great-grandparents, Starlee Morrison, Norma Bagley, and Carol (Doug) Magale; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who eagerly anticipated meeting him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kristi Jones; his great-grandfathers, Clifford Bagley, Joe Morrison, and Gary Miller; his great-grandmothers, Carolyn Bowerr & Sue Cookerly; and his brothers, Cliff Jones and Lucas Jones.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jacob's precious life during calling hours on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor John Cottrell officiating.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, AT OUR LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED CREMATORY.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and caregivers of the Labor and Delivery Unit at Genesis Hospital for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided during this difficult time.
