Honey Mae Seevers, 77, of Zanesville, died at 6:13 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1948 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Ewell A. Wilson and Eva E. Ponchak-Deal and her late adopted mother, Barbara Hanning and adopted father, Elmer McHenry. She worked for Longaberger as a quality supervisor. Honey enjoyed reading, bowling, fishing and spending time outdoors while camping. But above all, she found the most joy in spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Dean (Danielle) Savage of Florida, Dianna (Jason) Burns of Granville, Tonya (Jerry) Billingsley of Missouri and Sonya (Pete) Phillips of Missouri; ten grandchildren six great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a sister, Lori (Keith Janssen; three brothers, Jerry (Michelle) Wilson, Bill (Jenny Williams) Deal and Troy (Julie) McHenry; a sister in law, Pat Wilson; and two brother in laws, David (Cheryl) Seevers and Dave Sherfy.
In addition to her parents, Honey was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Seevers, who passed away September 4, 2022; and her son Donald "Chuck" Savage; a sister, Nancy Metcalf; and two brothers, Jim Wilson and Kenny Wilson.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 with Pastor Dan Moore officiating. Honey Mae will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Jack at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville.
